Every piece of Thaleia jewelry is lovingly handcrafted from start to finish by self-taught Palestinian-Canadian jeweller Tala Sakhnini from her home studio in Toronto, Ontario.

Tala's affinity for working with her hands has always been a guiding force throughout her personal and creative journey. However, it wasn't until she became curious about jewelry making, and specifically the technique of lost wax casting, where things began to align. The possibilities afforded to her by this technique - i.e. the ability to create organic shapes and unique textures with an intentional human touch - meant she could make wearable art pieces that transcended conventional notions of jewelry. 

At Thaleia we take pride in creating a collection of predominantly one-of-a-kind pieces. These are ready made, one-off designs that only come in one size, granting you the opportunity to own a special piece that exists only for you. We also offer a small staple collection that is "Made to Order". These designs can be replicated and the rings in this category can made in any size as they are most often hand-carved to order.
